On our way we will take a little break.
Once in Luxor, our day trip Luxor looks like this:
Your English - German speaking guide will be by your side throughout the excursion from Hurghada to Luxor, sharing all his knowledge with you. In other words, since this excursion is private, you have the opportunity to enjoy the sightseeing in peace and quiet away from mass tourism.
As the largest temple complex in Egypt, in Karnak, a village about 2.5 km north of Luxor and directly on the eastern bank of the Nile. The oldest remains of the temple still visible today date back to the 12th dynasty under the pharaoh Sesostris.
Outstanding among the ruins are the temples of Amun-Re with its ten pylons. The total area of the temple is about 30 ha. The largest area of the temple complex is the district of Amun. Among other things, you will see the holy lake, the red chapel, the white chapel as well as the alabaster chapel and the temple of Opet.
Of course, there is much more to explore at Karnak Temple.
About 45 minutes Nile ride by motorboat - Felucca can offer nothing better to your soul and mind. After the included exclusive Nile ride, you will arrive at a cozy and beautiful restaurant overlooking the Nile, where you can relax and enjoy your Egyptian-Oriental lunch.

The Valley of the Kings in Luxor West (Thebes) was a necropolis in Ancient Egypt. In ancient Egyptian terms, the Valley of the Kings was called Sechet-aat (the great field).
It is the largest burial place of the Egyptian pharaohs. In the Valley of the Kings, in particular, the tombs of the rulers of the new empire can be found. The valley is located in Thebes-West, opposite Karnak on the edge of the desert and is lined with high mountains. Despite thousands of years of activity of excavations and looting, the Valley of the Kings still provides Egyptologists with numerous highly valuable grave finds. In 1922, the tomb of Tutankhamun was discovered largely unscathed by Howard Carter. The first clearly identified tomb in the Valley of the Kings comes from the pharaoh Thutmosis I. With Napoleon's expedition to Egypt, the systematic search and opening of tombs began. In the Valley of the Kings you will visit three tombs.
The Colossi of Memnon are two colossal statues from the 14th century BC standing side by side. They are located in the Nile Valley not far from the Valley of the Kings in Thebes-West.
The quartzite statues represent King Amenhotep III sitting on a throne.
The statues are still about 18 meters high today, including the pedestal.
the mortuary temple of Hatshepsut dates back to the 18th dynasty and is the best preserved temple in Thebes on the west bank of the Nile.
The entire temple complex was built of limestone. Within about 15 years, from the 7th to the 22 years of queen Hatshepsut's reign, this temple was built. The temple has its own idiosyncratic architecture.
